Weekdays

Labels: , , , , ,
I'm back to my "rest" weekends again! One - because my weekend mates have been busy. Two - trying to save up some money. Three - really need some rest.

So last weekend I was stuck in my room to do nothing. It was kind of lame I know, and impractical since I whine about how unorganized my life is right now and all that messed up life dilemma.

The art of doing nothing is my greatest, number one, guilty pleasure. I'm so good at wasting time. It may sound very repulsive, yes? But it calms me down. I think there would be some kind of world peace if people just sat for a day and think about things that make them grin.

Ok enough of my nonsense string of calming thoughts. I'm going to stay here, in my room today. I ain't gonna comb my hair, cause ain't going anywhere... hoohoo

Weekdays

I actually can't complain about this week.

Monday, I had dinner with Miko, Erika, and Ate Mariko. "I missed Miko" is an understatement. We're too far from each other sometimes, communicating with her through mobile and the internet is not enough. I miss laughing by the mere sight of our facial expressions.

You know when I say I miss college, a part of it will always come from missing Kumiko. Always.

It's such a great bonus that Erika joined us for the night. It could never go wrong with these two. They are two of those people who make me laugh even I've had the shittiest day. They make me want to laugh, they make you want to try to crack a joke, because they make me not want to waste the time I have with them. It's comforting.

Being nostalgic and all, I dug deep into Kumiko's multiply account and found old pictures. I have to blog separately about that though. She already posted a blog about it. Lovely!

Tuesday, I never get to go home early when I promise myself to do so. Meeting up with Jervi got cancelled because he said he had to go somewhere. Maybe meet boys lol. I ended up having the usual after office routine. Dinner, coffee and pretzels. We got to redeem the free pretzels from Joy. Yay! They were telling me I am becoming one of their topics because I was MIA for a few days haha so I had to spend some time with them. TO RANT of course. :)

Wednesday, Sir Benjie's despidida. Well, no details on that. One thing is for sure though, it was fun. I was not able to join Jervi, Pao and Erika though. I couldn't leave the office even if I tried. I got a call from a drunk Erika who passed the phone to a drunk Paola who then passed it to another drunk, cussing Jervi. Haha what a nice lullaby before I sleep!

Thursday, is just kadlhvfailwuo;wfrw. Since I had to pass the previous night, we agreed to hang out after office on a Thursday. We went to Fort Agave, because of Pao haha. I was pissed off at first because they can't decide where to go, if they're going to pick me up, and to add some more stress they were late. I was hungry and anxious. Finally when we arrived, we ordered and had small talks that involved Pao and Jervi's bickering. And then I turned to face Pao. And on the background I saw you. Oh my, freaking heavens. I saw you. After, I'm guessing, nine years? Wow you still look the same. Still beautiful if I my say. Gad, I sound like a creeper.

I. just. can't. even. I looked so wasted. Darn it. But it didn't bother me much. I was a little surprised to see you. I don't think this comes from mainly or entirely having a big crush on you waaaay back when I was just starting adolescence. It's just that somehow, I came to realize I kind of looked up to you. You were different from all the people I knew back then - smart, kind, I don't really know you but I can imagine what kind of culture you got. Ok I'll just breathe and stop creeping out. LOL

Friday, is HARRY POTTER day! I'm not a fan and I'm a little lost, well most of the time. Didn't read the books, haven't even watched the movies (well except the last two) but I can say I liked it. Pma was crying haha we were all for saving her tears too but Ayee told me to shut up because it was the serious and important part of the film. Pao got extra junk because they didn't give us popcorn. Boo. They should've compensated by giving us two hotdogs! Anyway, SM North was so packed there were people and cars everywhere. We parked at the empty spot at the Valet parking. In our defense, we searched the place and had circled the block to find the valet booth but to no avail. And then when we got back, no one was there either so we just took off. HAHA

To end the day we had Moonleaf to go.

So yes, I need rest. Today I swear I'm not doing anything, nothing at all!

PS. I'm only quoting Bruno Mars's song because of Edei :p

Celebrating Pride

Labels: , , ,

Wait, hold up! I take it back. We DID NOT miss this weekend.

(Hoho I made the previous blog before leaving the house)

Replying to early morning messages :

Me: I wanna see you twoooo
Ayee: Kita tayo maya! :( haha kaso gagawa pang LPs si Pma
Pma: Tara. Chos.
Me: Pweds ako quick Moonleaf lang
Ayee: Si Pma pressured haha
Pma: Ok lang din. Very quick. Haha

So with that, we spent the lazy Sunday afternoon at Maginhawa. T. Vill is so quiet on Sundays, I actually wanted to sit on the curb on one of the side streets. I just want to live there (not on the curb ok? in T. Vill!) I so love that place :)

First, I ordered Margherita at Friuli. Pma got a little drunk the last night she said she was drinking Margarita and was wishing we were with her. I said I also wanted to be them but I'd rather have Margherita than Margarita :p Im kind of a pizza junkie like that. Plus I thought, it was a great way to celebrate Pride = Pizza, Milk Tea and a lot of Gayness with two of my few favorite people.

We didn't really plan on celebrating it. It's just that I got sick and the weather was awful the past few days. It kinda fell into place though; it's the last Sunday of June, NY just passed the bill to legalize same sex marriage yesterday and I'm well (yes, that's another thing to celebrate heh!)

So with all these rainbows, need we say more? :p

When I said I'm in for a quick Moonleaf though, I meant business. We went back to Cubao after about an hour. Being "sick" meant I can't go home alone. After grabbing some potatoes from Tacobell, I had to start yet another wave of separation anxiety with these two LOL

They went to go get some S&R pizza. With Ate Trish and Tita Grace. WITHOUT ME! Darn, that makes me like a sad lady bug. Or a sad gay lady bug. Whatever.

Hey, don't do this again. :p

Ok, so I don't want to end this with an envious note, I really just wanted more pizza!

I think we should do more of this - find quiet places to disturb :p I would definitely go back to T. Vill on a Sunday. If not, a Saturday afternoon in Ayala will do hehe

Monday na ulit bukas. WTH?!

I guess we can't stand each other... being apart!

Ok enough of this clingy cheesy riot!!! Good night! :p

These Are The Days

Labels: , , ,
Sunday! I had a terrible flu over the weekend and things got kind of out of control because of the typhoon (Falcon). Classes were suspended and working hours cut short last Friday. I really didn't have plans for Fri but Pma, Ayee and I were supposed to meet yesterday for some chicken wings. The weather and my sickness got in the way though. So we missed out this weekend.

Now that I have time, might as well blog about our weekly routine. I'm not really sure when it started but it just became a regular thing for us - spend some time with each other over the weekend.

These pictures are worth 3 weeks of pigging out and being silly with Ayee and Pma.

June 4, 2011 - Lunch at Ayee's house c/o Tita Grace! (YUM!), X-Men and BGC

This is one of the many reasons why we love Tita Grace. Look, there's roasted chicken, tofu, mushroom soup, fried rice, POTATOES and many more :))

Waiting in line for free balloons (fail) at BGC

Just plain adoration for ice cream (Pma and I)

With Ayee, paying for my Havs Explorer :))

June 10, 2011 - Dinner at Pino (Maginhawa QC), dessert at Bizu (GH) and milk tea at Happy Lemon (GH)

Dinner with Ayee, Pma, and Erika. Ate Kami followed after she finished her buffet feast at Don-Day just across Pino.

After a lot of convincing and pouting, the Laudencias still insisted they had to go home :( This is just an impulsive decision by the three of us. Sugar rush!

One of my overly sweet photos with Pma. LOL "Meron ng Bizu, isa na lang ang kulang!"

Happy Lemon after Bizu. Something went wrong with my ATM card. Thus, we had to use Ayee's cash to buy all the drinks and pay for the parking! I had to borrow some fare so I can go home. WTH! :p

Bizu and Happy Lemon = 2 cravings satisfied

June 18, 2011 - Went to Eastwood to buy stuff. Happy Lemon then Fazoli's for dinner!

This little thing blinks when your order's ready. They don't have this at GH!

Having the usual Italian Chicken and Pasta at Fazoli's after like forever! I missed this place and their chicken! It was like Jollibee though, too crowded and noisy.

Another photo with Pma. "Tayo-tayo muna." LOL

At last! A photo of us three :) Ayee always takes the photos it's rare to have all of us in one frame. hehe

I love these two. I miss them even after spending the day together. I don't know when we became so clingy or when we became a weekly part of each other's lives. I'm not complaining though, I'm just enjoying it until it lasts. Sooner or later things will change and this weekly routine will be replaced with other activities involving other people.

Sooner or later we will reminisce about these weekends and say "Those were the good old days". But for now, until we can hold on to them, I say these are the days. These our are best days :)

The Girls from Taft

Labels: , , , , ,
Ops. No, they aren't from DLSU. They're UP Manila kids! I'm pretty much proud of these girls. They have gone a long way and, wait for it, they're still alive!

I don't know where and when it actually started. We just had a thread where we talked about having a get together. It got postponed a few timesbut we managed to set a date. Much to my demise, they wanted it on a Wednesday, after reg. And who am I to object? I'm the only one working - I was out numbered. Good thing I got my way into convincing them to have dinner at Makati. Meeting up at MOA on a Wednesday night was just pure madness. There was no way on Earth I could pull that one off.

So, I basically sprinted to the bus stop as soon as I got out of the office. I was so giddy about it I didn't even care if my clothes were put together decently.

I came early. Earliest actually. The rain has made it difficult for them to avoid heavy traffic and there were last minute delays and whatever. I was almost pissed. (Why is it that when we plan on seeing each other, the skies won't fail to turn grumpy?)

I went to All Flip Flops at Glorietta and found out that they had Havs Explorers of size 35s in 4 different colors. Ugh. That was when I got really pissed and stormed off back to Greenbelt like a furious Panda.

After so much time waiting and torturing myself on looking for shoes, half of the girls came!

Christine, I, Shane and Bari boy

They did not want to suggest a place and I was dead serious of being hungry so without even thinking, we just went in for some Mexican food. (I like Mexican Express better than this. I don't even know if I remember the restaurant's name right. I think it was Baja?)

Nina and Karina soon arrived. Oh how I missed these two! They were the first two close friends I had at UPM. I think, they're still the closest ones I got there plus Bari.

Bari then commented, out of the blue while the three of us were laughing about some random memory, that the "Mean Girls" were back together. I winced, not being used to be associated with such words and the thought of attaching my name to a famous mainstream bitch movie I didn't even get to watch up to now. I don't think I remember them referring us as that way back circa 2007. Haha but that had made my heart melt a bit. I remember how close we were, we were constantly laughing and gossiping like high school girls. We usually took the lead at throwing random insults to random people like it was just part of our day. We constantly teased friends and made fun of each other.

So many things have changed, Skinny got a boyfriend and is now the president of the Dent council. (what a shocking shocker! hahaha) and Nins have Mia now, she's so adorable! Yet, things seemed to be just the same. It was still fun hanging out with them, no dead air, no awkwardness whatsoever. :)

Hmm, ok so before I get all mopey and stuff. We headed out to get some gelato. Yay! Dessert is my favorite part of pigging out.

After having mediocre Mexican food

Gelato outside Gelatone. (Yeah, cause outside, there's no such thing as service charge!)

We got all kinds of gelato, and with "all kinds" I mean different kinds for us to taste. lol Karina had even tasted so much of other people's gelato, she barely touched hers! Joy was on a taste test feast with the ice cream boy (that's not supposed to sound naughty) and settled for the one with a flavor of Mango and Bacardi. How innocent of her haha

I was raining the whole night. I thought I'd be stuck at Makati. Im never good at commuting in that area. Good thing Pam saved me and I got in a van before it hit midnight. That was so exhausting but I guess, it was worth the effort :)

Thanks to Gio for taking this picture

We suggested to do this more often. Ha! I just don't know if that's possible but we already had the next pig out session planned out. :)

I kind of remembered the blog "Nostalgia Manila" while typing this whole thing :p

The Good Finds

Labels: , , ,
An eventful week. Can't even think of how to sew thoughts in a blog. Sooo... for starters, since muchacho pictures aren't uploaded yet, I'm just going to post pictures of my new friends lol

Last Friday was a "Cancel Friday" Friday since so many things did not push through. Which was a good thing though, cause I got to see Pma and Ayee. We had dinner at Halo and Ayee went to Bellini's for a pre-planned dinner with HS friends. Pma and I on the other hand went to roam around Expo. We ended up at a newly opened book store cafe "Libreria". Upon entering, we saw a table in the middle of the room with a few people seating around it seeming to have a good conversation and quite a feast. A woman in black immediately offered us pizza. That was kind of surprising and well, a bit heart warming. Expo is definitely a place to have random conversations with middle aged folks. After a few minutes she asked our names and said "I'm Gang" and she extended her hand. We then got a slice of pizza and continued to look for books.

"Whoa" I thought to myself. I have heard so much about Gang and Rock Ed but I never really bothered to look for a picture of her. To cut the long story short, the little random conversation with Gang Badoy has made me a bit giddy. :) I decided to tweet her when I got home HAHA

Anyway, so much for a bit of pseudo fangirling. I got the Dirty Dozen Comic Book on sale. It was such a good buy! I even, told my dad and he was a bit impressed with me. Hehe. I purposely chose this among other good books because it reminded me of him :)

The next day we went to BGC. After watching Xmen we went to see the balloons from the passion parade. And well, it didn't turn out so well because we ended up waiting in line to get free balloons but didn't get any :(

Good thing I remembered to pass by All Flip Flops to check out if there were size 35s of the Havs Explorer for kids. (I saw Pma wearing one the previous night and I was kind of in love with them) And Yay! They still had one in blue. As usual, when I heard it was the last pair and they were running out of stock, I immediately had to panic buy it. Pft. But that got me back in the mood sooo it isn't that bad right?

Weekends and so lurve esp when my friends and I get all clingy :p

The Good Things that Come Out of Unfortunate Events

This week's fridate was a different one.

My friend's mom passed away early this week. I just got home and went on line last Tuesday, the first thing I read was her message, telling me what happened. My heart sank for a few minutes I was even tearing up a bit. It was so hard to imagine someone losing his/her mom.

We had agreed to let go of the usual fridate pig out to go to the wake. It was kind of weird that we were group texting talking about going to a funeral parlor. Aren't we young for this? Sure I had my first wake with friends last month but it feels different thinking one of my closest friend's mom died. However, I had to admit I got a bit excited knowing we would have a little bit of a get together after a while.

Ayee picked me up at Cubao then we headed off to Maginhawa because Pma and Pao were there for their so called emergency. Truth be told, Ayee and I were getting a bit grumpy cause we had planned this days before and they were causing us delay for a fake emergency (yeah, we can tell. cause who gets an emergency and stays at Tomatokick? like duh) plus this is not just any fridate. We were going to a wake for chris' sake, someone can only die once!

So anyway, it did help that we got milk tea from Moonleaf and luckily, after what seems to be a lifetime, caramel pudding was available. We decided to just meet up there so we waited for Erika and Ate Kami as well. To our surprise, Fiona was with them! Oh my she's gotten so big already! I remember not so long ago she was in Erika's tummy while we were scaring each other about ghosts at Sacay and now she is this adorable and girly little kid (not to mention very well behaved)

(Everyone cracked up when Pao said the last time she saw Fiona was when she celebrated her 7th birthday. LOL what a lie, she's just five!)

We got there at around 830 already and the place was just plain packed! We stood outside for more than an hour chatting and catching up. it's good to see that Carmi's holding up pretty well. (I guess). I'm praying that they would be ok. I know we all are. She's a strong woman and I can't help but be amazed by her. She's been through a lot - makes me want to think twice when I want to whine about my life. She may not know it but I look up to her. I know she is far from perfect but she has a good heart.

I just miss us being together. Since we graduated from college, it has been so hard to get us in one place at the same time. The random afternoons at school were long gone. It kind of makes me real sad. I think about those sunny days when we bump into each other just like that. Like it was the most normal thing in the world and now, someone had to pass away to get us all in. Well, scratch that, not even all of us.

I told Erika how I feel old and grown up. That I think we already belonged to those people who say they only get to see friends on wakes.

Whew. Well, on a lighter note, as a superstition of making "pagpag" after you visit the dead and as my own physical need for food (I haven't eaten anything for the day), we went off and searched for some place to eat. We ended up at JT's. And of course, we saw JT. hehe.

It was pleasant having dinner at a long table with good old friends like good old days. Fiona had dinuguan. LOL, I don't even eat that, isn't she just so likable for a kid? I really don't have my way on these little creatures I find it hard getting along with them and they're kind of irritating when they're 5 you know. But Fiona was a good kid, I can just tell. Of course, Pma being a child at heart, became her instant playmate. They were so cute, I had stopped a few seconds for a couple of times just to watch them.

We went to get ice cream after that. Wow, that's the best part! :p

It was past twelve so we decided to head home.

This is why I love Fridays. I can't even work the whole day cause my mind has a giant sign with blinking neon lights that spelled FRIENDS. It doesn't really matter if we celebrate or mourn, I just feel happier when I'm with them.

Friday Night: Little Tokyo and BGC (Butterflies and Bizu)

Labels: , , , ,
Friday! Majority of my officemates went to MBO at noon for the company outing. I know it may sound lame that I chose to pass on that but surprisingly, I don't really care. Friday was great! Erika said she was in the area so we thought we'd have lunch only to find out we both weren't hungry and ended up having coffee. I was successful in convincing her to go with us (Pma and Ayee) in the afternoon.

Pma's meeting got cancelled. Couldn't hide my grin while "working" - that meant we can stay longer and go anywhere. Timog isn't really my place so... yeah :)

They picked us up at almost six and we were driving to nowhere. We drove around San Juan, Pasig, Mandaluyong until we have decided that we're going to Makati and due to Pma's lack of suggestions for Italian restos, The Little Tokyo vote had won (yey!)

I've been wanting to try this place since late last year. We got a bit lost but we got there just in time before I lose my appetite.

Tadah! Little Tokyo's entrance. With hookers on the side lol.

We ate at Oishinbo. It had an nice and cozy interior. The tables were full so we had to sit at the counter which is good btw. I'm glad we got to try that :) Bottles of liquor and food being grilled in front of us.

The Menu

Beef Bentou

"I-forgot-the-kind-of" Ramen (nonetheless, it was good!)

Erika and I shared our dinner since we cannot decide if we want Ramen or Bentou. I love the potato salad! Haha yep, anthing potato keeps me happy!

The ambiance we got from the counter. We transfered to the big table at the corner for the fifth member. (a baseball game being shown on TV, I really wished they had Sumo wrestling) Joy followed to have dinner but she had to rush to a meeting at BGC. We decided to just go to there as well and get coffee/try Starbucks Drive Thru since we were done eating anyway.

Starbucks Drive Thru

Got Strawberries and Cream. Can't take too much coffee in a day :p

We parked beside Starbucks (which is kinda odd since we can park at Starbucks for free) just because we wanted that dim parking lot feel and we didn't want to be in a crowded place. Pma started playing the guitar. She's getting good at it! It was plain laid back and relaxing.

Sadly we had to end the night for 1. My Curfew 2. Pma's need of sleep to prep up for camping. We picked up at Ate Trish at St Lukes and then brought us to our "drop off points".

I want more Friday nights like this! And I'm going to say it again, I wouldn't trade a long way drive, Little Tokyo, Starbucks Drive Thru and Fort parking with Marriott, Corregidor, booze and Kaos. BABAE! :)

Food and Friends

Labels: , , , , , ,
In line with being a happy kid, which is my almost-everyday-kind-of-kid lately, this is a post to acknowledge one of the major sources of my happiness -Friends and Food.

Last week, after hours well spent at Greenhills, Pma, Ayee and I together with Iya then followed by Ate Trish, Tita Grace and Tito Elmer (whew!) went to Eastwood to try out Sambokojin or for us, Sambojokin. :p

Actually what I loved most about our dinner aside from the fact that we got to grill our own food, was that we had tons of laughter! Like we were laughing so hard we didn't even care if the place was full of people munching on food. Tita Grace gave us that stern-trying-not-to-laugh look and said "Dinig na dinig ko kayo dun" (pointing at the far side of the room). Hah! Whatever. We were all having a good time and I know she was happy that we were all so hyped.

SamboJOKIN with Ayee and Pma

So yesterday, I planned to stay home and enjoy the weekend by fangirling (lol). My phone was actually turned off but I decided to charge it just in case my dad would try to call or text me. It was almost noon and I was still alone in the house. Not complaining though, I love alone times :) I immediately received a text message upon opening my phone. It was Pma telling me we're going out. I wasn't so sure if I wanted to since I came home a bit late the night before after having a few drinks with Erika at TK. I missed her so much! I love that I got to talk to her again about random stuff. I feel sad sometimes thinking we don't get to do that everyday anymore. Oh, and while we were drinking, she randomly said that we should watch the Incubus concert. Then in a sec, they were already playing Drive and we were laughing while enjoying the music. When it hit the chorus, people started to sing in unison "Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there..." like it was automatic. That made me smile, it was just plain good vibes!

Ok so going back to yesterday, I finally decided to go. We figured we'll just go to Makati since we have been to Ortigas and Eastwood already last week. We ended up eating at Bon Chon and having dessert at Cara Mia. Chicken wings and Gelato kept me smiling the whole time. The weather was perfect - not too hot but not so cloudy. We sat there for hours enjoying the quietness of the place. I loved it! No amount of food or alcohol or music can beat conversations with friends. :)

Killing time doing the it's just a face/phase post

I want more and more of this! I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow :p

The Brown Things

Labels: , ,
I can't think of anything to actually say on this post. I'm just feeling happy. :) It must be the weather!

So I noticed this morning that my room has a lot of brown in it. I have thought long before to add color in my room but I can't figure out how to do it. Well, no rush. Brown is good!

The brown brogues I bought with Miko weeks ago. It makes me smile. IDK why.

I miss Miko. I wish I could shop with her more often. This is another impulsive purchase and she was there to support. (how can you not love her?)

I finally gave in and bought the brown satchel from the ukay-ukay at Cubao. I first saw this when I was with Jervi. I had thought twice on buying it since I was kinda hoping I would win the Cambridge Satchel by joining the contest on Twitter but figured, that was a long shot. Besides, I was looking for a brown satchel for quite sometime so I guess, there's no reason to hold back on this baby. :p

Yes, I had to take a picture of it with my Mario :)

I just got home from Halo with friends - Ayee, Iya and Chal.

Ordered baked chicken as usual. Sipped Taragon shake as usual. Had a great time as usual.

Random topics when suddenly Ayee got a text message.

It's too soon to tell, I know. No bidding goodbyes yet, we still have a month. Then again, a month goes by so fast we wouldn't have enough Halo and Moonleaf to fill in her absence for the next few months or years.

If "The Secret-ing" is true/effective, then I'm going to claim it. Ayee's going to SG, get an awesome job, earn money, save up, buy the things she wants and buy the things I want. Hehe.

More than getting old, we're growing up. I'm happy for you bok, for having a supportive family and for landing in a job that offers a great deal. Don't expect too much though, all things have ups and downs. You're going to rant about work and all that but always think that this is a nice opportunity to explore and go beyond your boundaries. Do this while your young. We're all here to support.

Take this as a blessing! Ma-overwhelm ka lang. Then go for it! :)

When friends finish HS, they go separate ways and study in different universities. When they finish college, they go further, and farther.

We would love to do the usual things with you but I guess, just as how a word loses its meaning when you say it over and over again, life loses meaning when you do the same things over and over too. Whatchathink?

So go there and start being YOU. You without mom, ate, iya, relatives, friends... It's going to be hard. And worth it. So don't get emot and be excited! Lez plan when Pma and I will go visit ok?

I love you!!!

2nd Post for Today

What a lazy bum.

I just wanted to blog about some thoughts. Well, I think it's actually inappropriate to "share" the story so I won't name names just so I would not completely destroy other people's privacy.

I was with one of my closest friends yesterday and gahd, I missed her! I don't get to see my friends a lot these days, makes me feel we're not that much friends anymore, you know?

So we were talking and the topic went to how her relationship with her ex, another close friend, is. It saddens me. The way she talked about it sounded so "un-special". I always thought, "Oh they'd get back together. It is just how lovers are. They break up, they come back." They had such a nice relationship, a least for us who saw them when they were together.

And then she told me about how she sees it, how she felt, how she feels. I don't know how she got through it. When I was dealing with ze final break up, I decided to just detach myself completely until a got used to not having that person in my life. And then it was ok, living without her was like an ordinary day. But this friend, she had to go through it spending each day seeing how much they've drifted apart. What a pain to handle right?

And I see she's ok, but exhausted. I don't really know why they ended up like this. Maybe if I hear the other side of the story I'd understand.

On other news, there's another friend who's having relationship problems and I really see myself, a lot of times, in the shoes of her girlfriend. I feel kinda guilty because I'm not being a supportive friend. Maybe it's because when I hear their points and arguments, I just can't help thinking they're not for each other - like how I and my ex were almost a disaster. I know, we're all different people and if it happened to me, it doesn't mean they would have the same fate. So there, I'm not saying much when I get to hear their issues. I just listen. (which is kinda hard cause I'm like forever commenting on things)

For now, I hope everyone is happy :)

What's going on, chicharon?

Lol. I have watched Mikey Bustos vids yesterday and got a bit addicted.

Anyway, I just thought of blogging. These are such crazy, busy days. The heat is almost unbearable. The work load is just pouring and office duties are, sometimes, crushing my bones.

BTW I have gained 20lbs in 3 months. If I was challenged in a reality show to gain weight, it would've been "chicken" to me. Heh.

So, I have no concrete blog flow. This is just a random rambling so please do not think of red marks while reading.

Three of my closest friends graduated this week - Ayee, Erika and Pao. I love them to pieces and I'm so happy we're all in the jungle now lol. I was at Ayee's grad party last night, I wish I had one too :( I got to spend time with Pao and Pma after a long long time! Exponential hearts.

I'm quite sad though, I feel like we should stop referring to Pao and Pma as Pampao. I feel like, despite unwavering public demand, they're not gonna get back together. :((

It's hard having friends you love so dearly break up. Alam mo yun? We're like their fans kaya. Huhu

So much for that. Moving on...

ALFD's lola died. We went to the wake and had a great time. I know it sounds wrong but we did hehe. It's not like we made fun of the wake ok? We just played cards and "gambled" like what old folks do on lamays. It was the first time I went to a wake with just my friends.

Oh life.

It's funny I get so irritated easily by you. Sana babae ka na lang. At sana gusto kita so you'd be my happy crush. Kaso hindeee. Pft.

I really had something to blog about but I can't. Gonna keep it to myself tonight.

Ciao siopao!

Basic Motor Car Claims Processor's Seminar
MIIC Alabang 8 Apr 2011

MIIC Alabang/Training Room/9 Apr 2011

So the week long seminar came to an end yesterday, 09 Apr 2011.

From Alabang, we went to Market Market for tiangge. I had no plans of buying anything but well, I am just human.

Look at the details of the items I bought

I wore the white lace ups from Ichigo the whole day. They're so pretty but I don't think they're made for whole day walking.

After Market Market, I went straight to Rockwell for the Coachella Bazaar.

Free photo booth! Coachella Rockwell Bazaar with Ayee and Iya

I bought this pair of rainbow espadrilles. they're so comfy I wanted to use them right away hehe. It's inner sole is made of abaca and is softer than the usual espadrilles (said the person manning the booth) I dont remember the brand/name of the store since they placed the shoes in a blank shoe box and plastic bag. Plus, while buying, we heard that Iya won the 1k GC, we were so distracted. Haha Congrats Iya! And Ayee since the GC ended up to be a nice pair of shoes for her. Thanks as well since they didn't let me pay my utang as a form of charity lol.

Anyway, this pair is sooo gay hehe i love it. I was supposed to get the blue and white stripes but Ayee said, it's already somewhat similar to my B Sides pair.

On other news, I saw nice pairs of Oxfords at Sole Service but they were a bit pricey/out of my budget. They launched these pairs at the bazaar. I was not able to take pictures but they're so niiice. Like eye candies hehe. I would probably buy one if I still have extra money :) Material is good, nice colors, design and details, plus it looks durable and comfy. I like the sole and stitches as well.

Ok so going back. I bought a pair of Tan Barca III from Suelas. I wore this pair today. I love it's inner sole. Hehe violet and soft. :p

It comes with a "bag"

"Flatten It, Fold It, Roll It. "

Look! they have GK Payatas 13 as partners in handcrafting these shoes. :)

They have many designs. I want to buy more hehe Here's their website: http://www.suelasonline.com/

That's all. Ciao! :))
